1961/62 Very Good Scout Team run by Alex Cowan, Colin Price and Bill Harris Under 16's they felt they were too good to disband and decided to enter a Team in the Newly Formed Southampton Boys League Under 18's and needed a manager so approached John Foster to be Manager. Hamble Social and Athletic Club was approached for use as a Football Headquarters (at this time there was no sponsorship by Hamble Social and Athletic Club.)
1962/63 In their First Year they reached the Final of the Southampton
Boys Football League but lost 2-0 to Redcoats United (St Mary's
School Youth Club) which was played on Follands Park. (Tony
Paul played in Hamble Youth side and he is still involved with
Vets. Team today.)
1966/67 A
Sunday Senior Side was formed taking over Bardic Sports. The
Football Club became a Section of Hamble Social Club with a
Sports Secretary and Sponsorship.
1970/71 Amalgamated
with Hamble F.C. (Saturday Sides)
1971 The Football
Players wanted to form a Cricket Team and entered the Park League
and Evening League. A few Years later the Team acquired Hants
League Status playing their Home Games on the College of Air
Training Ground, when the College closed no suitable ground
could be found and the Team amalgamated with Folland Cricket
Club.
1974 Saw Hamble
Social and Athletic Club move into new premises and changing
their name to Hamble Club. The Football Club Saturday Side became
Hamble Club F.C. and Sunday Side Hamble Athletic.
1975/76 The
Football Club amalgamated with West End Youth a Sunday Side
run by Colin Williams.
The Next decade was the Club's Golden
Era with Saturday Football making steady progress through the
Junior Leagues (17 of them in those days). Sunday and Youth
Football Becoming a formidable force in their Leagues. The Football
Club became known as The Villagers through their policy of only playing Hamble based players. The
Cricket Club also acquired Hampshire Status. The Club became
the First and still only Club to win the Southampton Football
Association Junior"A" and Junior"B" Cup
in the same Season. The Saturday 1st winning the Junior"A"
Cup and the Saturday Reserves winning the Junior"B"
Cup. Hamble Club's outside Sports Section included the Following.

Youth Cricket Hants and evening League and Friendly's on SundayThis is Hamble Club FC of the early 1980s
1981/82 Saw
Saturday 1st become Junior 1 Champions this side was managed
by John Foster with many of the early Youth Team players in
the side
1982/83 Saw
Hamble playing Saturday Senior Football for the First Time in
their history. Also this period saw the formation of Hamble
Youth playing in the Tyro League run by Shirley Mildenhall.
2002/3 Hamble
Club and Hamble Youth amalgamated Hamble Club Under 18's beat
Aldershot Youth 1-0 in the Hants Youth Cup.
